It is a picturesque village surrounded by pine groves where tranquility is the main attraction, both for its residents and vacationers. The beach has clear waters and is situated in the mouth of a torrent bordering on Felanitx township. A natural small lake with abundant flora and fauna has developed here.

The beach of Cala Murada offers two shores: one of sweet water where some ducks use to swim around and other one of salt water frequented by the bathers.
